ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Environmental policy is a set of ordered actions and practices taken by companies and governments with the aim of preserving the environment and ensuring the sustainable development of the planet. This environmental policy must be guided by environmental principles and values that take sustainability into account. At La Pods Factory we make this policy a major milestone among our team.

ALERT

Employees are reminded of the need to turn off equipment after the services have finished.

Production

In production, after using machines and equipment, switch off during the morning, afternoon and lunch breaks in order to reduce energy consumption.

MAINTENANCE

Carry out maintenance and a machine report periodically.

SILO

Remove sawdust waste from production every week from the SILO tank and keep the environment clean.

Raising awareness

Continuously raise awareness among employees of the activities carried out in relation to the environment, safety and health.

CERTIFICATION AND RECYCLING

LPF Factory, together with the APA - National Waste Authority, ensures its planning and management in order to prevent or reduce the harmful nature and possible adverse impacts of our production. On the other hand, we also seek to promote efficiency in the use of resources, based on the principles of the waste hierarchy and the Circular Economy. Our waste, such as the fabrics from our Smart Pods, is offered to local schools to build new products. WE WANT TO DO MORE AND BETTER!
